Forest Bathing for the Menopause

  • Hever Castle Woodland Edenbridge TN8 7NB (map)

Join Tansy in the wild for a restorative woodland workshop to FIND GROUNDING, CALM AND CLARITY THROUGH THE CHANGES OF MENO/ PERIMENOPAUSE.

3-hour guided workshop | No experience needed

This isn’t about managing your symptoms.
It’s about coming home to your body in a way that feels safe, slow, and real.

Perimenopause and menopause can stir up so much:
Foggy thinking. Emotional swings. A body that doesn’t feel like yours.
You might be sleeping less. Feeling more. Losing touch with the calm you once knew.

But this isn’t a problem to solve.
It’s a powerful transition to honour.

A slower way through: Nature.

Join me, Tansy, for a gentle, sensory-rich experience designed to soothe your system and reconnect you to your own rhythm, held by the woods.

Forest Bathing (from the Japanese Shinrin-Yoku) is the art of walking slowly, attentively, and mindfully in Nature.
It isn’t exercise.
It isn’t therapy.
It’s a practice of presence, and your nervous system will thank you for it.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • A 3-hour guided Forest Bathing experience, slow, quiet, restorative

  • Somatic practices to help calm your mind and tune into your senses

  • Simple rituals you can take home to ease hormonal overwhelm

  • A beautiful circle of women, moving through this season alongside you

  • Time to be held, not hurried

You’ll leave feeling grounded, nourished, and more like you.

WHY IT MATTERS:

The menopause transition isn’t just physical, it’s emotional, existential, identity-shifting.
Most spaces focus on what’s “wrong” with your body.
This one helps you reclaim what’s right about it.

Nature becomes your mirror.
Your restorer.
Your steady ground in the flux.

READY TO COME BACK TO YOURSELF?

No prep. No pressure. Just presence.
Your first breath of deep relief could begin here.

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING

  • Sensible comfortable clothes and supportive shoes

  • Warm comfortable clothes

  • Blanket for extra warmth if you like.

  • Water to stay hydrated

In every Forest Bathing workshop, I have held, I am always deeply grateful to see a look of peace and contentment on the faces of the participants as they leave the forest. “I did not expect to have such a powerful experience with Forest Bathing. I enjoy being in Nature and well-being so was curious to try and it definitely delivered. I felt so incredibly calm and at peace. I completely lost track of time and got lost in the moment. Tansy was very friendly and professional and lead us on a magical journey. I will definitely be back!”
