Walk yourself home
Wellbeing Walks allow you to take valuable time out for yourself to release and recharge, They help you gain clarity on where you are in life and explore ways of moving towards your fullest self. Walking away from the fast pace of life and stepping into a peaceful space of Nature is wonderfully symbolic. You get to leave your responsibilities at home and take time out to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
Do you love spending time in Nature and the sense of escape it brings when you step into a woodland, park or rolling fields?
Do you need some space and time to talk and feel heard in a relaxing environment?
Are you experiencing feelings of anxiety, depression, loneliness or fatigue?
Have you noticed how easy it is to talk and express yourself when you walk alongside someone rather than sitting face to face or speaking through a screen?

FAQs

I will always walk in light rain or short showers and this has never been a concern because I usually walk in locations with plenty of tree shelter. I also have waterproof ponchos that can be worn over your own jacket for extra protection.
With the right clothing, walking in the rain can be very therapeutic and cleansing and adds another layer to the sensory experience.
In the event of heavy rain, storms and high winds I would postpone the walk and arrange an alternative and convenient time for you.

I meet clients in many different locations including Staffhirst Wood, Toys Hill, Knoll Park, Limpsfield Chart, Goathurst Common and Haysden Park to name a few. I usually try to work within a 30-minute range of my home in Edenbridge so am always open to walking in new locations if they are safe and suitable.

It really depends on how you are feeling and what is going on for you in your life at the moment. I wanted these walks to be like booking a treatment like a massage or Reiki for example.
You may just want to book some time out to feel deeply relaxed and de-stress or you may want to book several sessions to focus on your life or wellbeing and make a bigger commitment to that journey.
That is why I offer the session as a one-off or a block of 3 and I have clients who use both options as some like to come 3-4 times a year and others come to me every month.

I always walk in public woodland spaces that are safe and used by other walkers. These woodlands have clear pathways and I am familiar with all of them and know my way around easily. I also carry a first aid kit and am first aid trained in the very unlikely event of any small accidents. I also ask you to fill out a health and safety form in advance of the session so that I am aware of any health conditions you may have,
I totally understand it might feel strange to meet someone new in a forest and that is why I offer a complimentary discovery video call so that we can e-meet first and get aquainted.
Saftey is one of my core values so it is hugely important to me that you feel safe and at ease.

I am not a counsellor but the sessions are very gentle and offer a space to share and process thoughts. I have a very therapeutic approach to coaching so I am somewhere between counselling and coaching.
I am also guided by you and what you would like to get out of the session. Some of my clients love the coaching element and want to move forwards with gentle action, while others use the sessions as a way to process, feel heard and have space to slow down and breathe.
