The Journey Home is a 6-week online experience that invites you to create a deeper connection to Nature whilst observing and understanding the wisdom and principles that Nature lives by to guide you on your own life path. It is a chance to tend to your well-being and invest time into your personal growth in a way that creates a sense of alignment and harmony with Nature. You get to rewild yourself back to your true nature in the way Mother Nature meant for you.

Humans are a beautiful species of Nature, yet we have separated ourselves so far away from the rest of Nature, forgetting what it means to truly be Nature. Losing touch with the body, the senses, our intuition, our innate sense of belonging and our unified purpose for being on Earth. Humans go against the grain of Nature in many ways and create huge resistance, control and fear, which causes us to push through the natural ebb and flow of life that Nature surrenders to so gracefully in order to continue cycling and flourishing.

This work seeks to first bring you closer to the rest of Nature. To develop a personal relationship with this magical web and in doing so reignite a relationship with a part of yourself that gets neglected. The wild self that doesn’t need or want to conform to restrained human-ness. A part of you that wants more freedom, more flow, more spontaneity and more knowing. By reclaiming your connection, you allow Nature to guide you, you see past the comparison and judgement of the human world and discover resilience and intuition within you that allows you to walk your own path.

ABOUT TANSY

The name Tansy comes from the tenacious wildflower that grows in the English countryside and much like her wildflower counterpart, Tansy lives and thrives in the countryside of Kent in the UK with her husband, two children and side-kick dog. Nature is a fundamental part of her life in work rest and play.

Tansy is an award-winning Certified Forest Bathing & Natural Mindfulness Guide and ICF Personal Growth Life Coach and TEDx Speaker, utilising Nature as a tool for inspirational growth and wellbeing. Tansy walks alongside groups and individuals outside in Nature to support them on their own journey of connection and evolution and works remotely with clients further afield. Growing up she held a huge passion and love for dance and movement therapy and achieved a BA in Dance. Her love of working with the body and finding expression and connection with it has been rebirthed into her work with Nature. Tansy leans toward a somatic approach of tending to the body through sensory and physical awareness to find guidance and enhance wellbeing and has a calm, friendly and grounding approach to her teaching.

Previously a writer and presenter for Wellbeing Radio, she is a passionate advocate for Nature connection. She has also appeared on BBC news, ITV Meridien and BBC Radio Kent and recently filmed a feature for local TV station KMTV. This year Tansy is excited to expand her work overseas as a facilitator for Skyros Holidays in Greece

FAQs

  • The course is self-led with 1 online session per week with Tansy where she will talk through the work and create a space for reflection and sharing experiences.

    The first session is on Tuesday 24th September and will be slightly longer to allow time to introduce the course and set the intentions. After that sessions will be 60 mins with optional 15 mins afterwards if you have any questions.

    All sessions will be recorded so if you miss a session you can watch it in your own time to catch up.

  • Each week will be a journey of self-exploration using Nature as a guidance tool. You will explore the principles and behaviour of Nature and reflect on how aligned you are with this and how this might show up in your life. You will be provided with simple workbooks that include guidance tools and exercises and journaling prompts plus audio guides to support you with your mindful connection with nature.

  • In addition to the weekly online sessions, you will also need to create a little space in your week for some quiet time in Nature which can be 20 mins in your garden or an hour in the woods. The solo time you spend in Nature is up to you and it doesn’t matter if you don’t have lots of time or don’t live in the countryside as Nature connection can happen pretty much anywhere. You will also want to have time for journaling and reflection so allowing a minimum of 2-3 hours per week for this course would be best but you can invest more time if you have it.

  • You will be invited to join a closed community online group so that we can all remain in touch in between the call sessions and you can share insights and reflections and feel connected to the community in your shared journey.

    An optional 30 mins of Q&A time will be added to each online session should you wish to remain on the call and share questions and feedback.

    I am also going to offer discounted 1-2-1 sessions for anyone wishing to deepen their journey or discuss the work in a more personal way.

  • All online sessions will be recorded so you can watch them in your own time if you are unable to join live.
