Join Tansy at the stunning location of Buckland Park for a monthly wellness walk around the lake, incorporating breathwork and mindfulness to feel grounded, energised and uplifted. Come and be part of this regular community meet-up and walk alongside like-hearted souls to boost your health and wellbeing.

A monthly walk on 2nd Friday of each month

Β£16 per person which includes free entry into the park (Normally Β£7pp) so you can stay on and relax in the grounds or go for lunch at the Reverie.

A monthly 1-hour wellness walk around Buckland Park Lake that will incorporate simple breathwork and mindfulness exercises. Stay on for a cuppa at the food van after if you have time to relax and reflect.

MEET OUTSIDE THE FITNESS ACADEMY YOGA STUDIO

I'm delighted to announce that I am teaming up with Buckland Park and The Fitness Academy, to leading a monthly wellness walk around the stunning lake and grounds of Buckland Park. These walks provide a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while getting your steps in, complemented by calming Qigong breathing exercises and mindful nature connection practices. The aim is to help participants feel grounded, refreshed, and uplifted by connecting with the natural world.

We invite you to join a like-hearted community of outdoor enthusiasts who value the simple yet powerful joys of walking together for self-care, connection, and overall well-being.

I am passionate about growing community so I will always stick around after each walk to get a cuppa from the food van and take some time to chat, relax and reflect on the session.

This will all contribute to a wonderful feeling of aliveness that you will experience by joining these walks.

What to expect

A gentle walk around the lake - we definitely wont be speed walking!

Uplifting walk, talk and laughter with like-hearted people

Simple breathing exercises as you gaze out at the lake.

Mindful Nature Connection that lets you appreciate the beauty and wonder of the natural world.

A chance to clock up some daily steps.

Quality time spent in the Great Outdoors

Relax after the walk with a cuppa from the food van (if you have time)

Schedule

09:30AM - Gather at the Fitness Academy Yoga Studio on far side of the car park.

09:45AM - Set off on the walk

10:45AM - Return to car park

10:50AM - Cuppa at the food van or bring your own flask/thermos

What to wear and bring

  • Sensible comfortable clothes and supportive shoes

  • Waterproof jacket advisable in case of light showers

  • Water to stay hydrated
